"Monograph of the Genus Cerithium Bruguiere in the Indo-Pacific (Cerithiidae: Prosobranchia)" is a thoroughly researched report on the approximately 42 of the 70 known species found in the Indo-Pacific at the time that this report was published. The information is illustrated by black and white photographs of the specimen shells. It also includes distribution maps and radular scans. The descriptions of these mollusks are complete. They have a synonymy and descriptions of the shells' physical structure and anatomy. This study lays the groundwork for future work on these mollusks. The copy offered is used with slight damage to the upper and lower ends of the spine. These spots have been reinforced with tape to prevent further damage.
